Here are some of my faves from Christmas. Maia was a no show for most of Sunday when I took all the pics of the kiddies. We were going to have company but then it changed to next Sunday. why waste a perfectly clean bunch of kids? PHOTO TIME!!!

Halloween Costumes!

Here is the costume Adam choose this year. Each time halloween is coming, I am just wondering what he wants to be, cause if you know Adam he surely thinks out of the box. This time was no exception but this year HE CHOOSE A BOX! A gamecube video game...here is what it all looked like in the end.

Next...is Madison, who wanted to be a vet. She is SO into her animals and this is how she came out in the end. Even ARf Arf had a good time trick or treating, and he only had a couple boo boos:) Isnt she sweet?

Today was a super game day. WET AND RAINY! ok you can tell I am struggling with the rain and the football doesnt make sense to me AT ALL! but I do love this kid and here are a few new shots to share with you all. He is such a great player. He loves the sport, gives 110% and is so into working hard. Grandpa Ken came to sit and watch the 6 quarters today. Thanks for coming:) Dad is out of town so he missed out this time. I bet he is having fun though...

Mike is #66 which is cool, that is the year we were both born!

Next is Sara. I took her outside to take some pics about a week ago. Between all the rain here and not having lots of time its been hard to get a chance to try with her...here is one though that I really like:) Can you believe that she is 16 already???

Ok, now onto some cutesy Adam shots. He was at Mikes game the other day and guess what? he decided to take the baseball field and build sandcastles with a moat. Yeah it rained and was nasty there...but here are two of the cute shots I caught.

My baby is all grown up

Maia is just amazing and beaming in these pics I took yesterday. We went out to the parkway to find some good locations and shot over 300 photos outside, and another last night inside to total out over 700. Its wonderful to see her as a senior, looking forward to a bright future ahead. Man, where does the time go?

Sara our awesome 16 year old, is in need of a new flute...here is her story. Please help if you can by reading after her letter:)

Hi, I’m Sara.

I won’t tell you that I don’t have a flute. In fact, I have two…But here’s the problem…

Two years ago, my mom got very excited because she saw an add online for what should’ve been my dream flute: Open holed, with a double roller, and for less that a hundred dollars. That flute came, and I was overjoyed…Until I saw the label. The instrument that came in the mail was not the one advertised. It wasn’t even close.

The flute that I’ve been playing in band is painted silver. The paint has actually somehow disappeared on the balance points, and also where you blow to create a sound.

The foot joint (the short end) doesn’t fit onto the body, because it’s actually from what was supposed to be a replacement. The original foot joint stopped working, and though I took it to two different professionals, nobody could tell me what was wrong with it. Only that I had to replace it. Now, when I play this flute, the foot joint falls off, and every time that it hits the floor, it dents a little more, and it fits a little worse. This finally became so frustrating to me that I fell back on something that my parents found in a pawn shop the summer after eighth grade.

I can’t even tell you what’s wrong with my student flute, which is at school so that I can play it there. The only thing that I can tell you is that no matter how I try, I can’t get it to go into tune. The joints don’t fit together well, and the biggest problem is that I don’t sound like a Junior member of Symphonic band…I sound like a Fifth grader on my first day with the instrument…And that’s not the way that I wished I sounded…That’s not the way that I wished I felt. What I wish is to sound as if I earned that spot in the top band. As if I deserved it.

The reason that we are running this tupperware fundraiser is because I recently expressed that wish to my mom. I told her which flute I wanted, and she tried to let me down gently, but the truth is that it’s out of our price range.

These people who tell me that I can have miracle for fifty dollars are lying. I need the real thing; not just some poor copycat. I’m sick of the disappointments that come with buying a shiny new flute. I just want one that works.

So, that’s why you’re all here. That’s why my mom’s brain said ‘Tupperware’. I want to pay for my own flute, but I realized that I’ll need some help, and I’m looking to you.

Summer is gone, time for fall fun!

GUESS WHO LOVES HORSES? Even ponies and this was so much fun. Madison is enjoying her rides and wants to be a vet. It was hard on a little pony as you can see she has grown a ton and is ready for a BIG horsy ride. FUN though, as the company PONY PALS is the same company as Maias 3rd birthday party! can you believe that was 15 years ago? She will be 18 next week

A big guy now

Well taking this picture of my High School Freshman sure brought the reality to me that he is growing up. Sure he leaves sox all over the house, forgets to take out the trash and argues with his three sisters all the time. ( his brother gets away with murder:)
