Happy Halloween
Ok, so they are growing up too fast. I think this might be the last year they actually dress up. Madison wanted to be an Earth Fairy, which had wind ( green wings) water ( blue leggings) earth ( blue dress ) and fire ( red headband which she didnt have on here. The boys wanted to be skaters, what else? But they made them scary skaters, cause these ones were broken. I didnt let them break any bones, but roughing up old jeans was definitely something that Mike helped with. They headed out to the garage and used files, sander drill and destroyed their jeans. We went to the church first for Trunk or Treat, then headed back so they could hang out in Aprils Grandpas back yard for a bonfire complete with glowsticks. YAY FOR HALLOWEEN!

This one is going to be my desktop for sure! Notice that awesome snow in the mesh of the fence? usually I dont even notice the lines of wire, but this morning it was AMAZING!
October snow flowers
This past weekend we all woke up to find some beautiful snowy sights. Although the kiddies are not excited since they want to be outside playing yet, I sure loved taking a few photos. This is one of my fave shots!

Maddie is 11!
Well we had the busiest of weekends, starting with a big party for Maddie at the scrapbooking house that I have been hosting my stamping events at. Her friends came to play, then we had a big sleepover, pancake breakfast on Saturday morning, then family came at 1 for ice cream cake. WHEW! Life is good. Maddie is 11 now and starting Middle School this fall with Adam and Matt. Mike will be right across the street at the high school. And the girls of course in college. Time is just flying!

Maddie graduated too
Just a quick note showing off Maddie as she graduated from 5th grade and the DARE program here in Dayton, MN. This is her teacher from 5th grade, Mrs Stevens. She sure had a long year with many days out sick, but she did great and caught right back up.

Mikey is 16!
I just had to share this cute photo of our big guy Mike. Now that he is 16, time will really fly so it was important to me that I capture his birthday really well. I painted the window, which by the way is HUGE! but not so when big Mike is next to it. Happy Birthday DUDE!

Maddie has a big owie!
Poor baby! Madison took the hedge clippers to her head when Dad was cutting back the wall of growth in our side yard. Maddie was helping and stepped in to grab some of the clippings when Dad swung back with the clippers. We are VERY grateful and blessed that it was here as its SO super close to the eyes.
It is a busy week, we are preparing for Saras grad party coming this Saturday June 6th. Oh the foliage just takes over out here in the sticks. Yes we live absolutely in the sticks. Here is more proof. Today in our front yard? A female deer!!!

A cute email
Adam sent this to our fave online skateboarder Rob Dyrdek, and he is hoping to get a reply...isnt it cute?

Rob, if you're actually reading this, then it worked. My name is Adam Brisse, I am 12, I live in Minnesota, and I skate.Your Wild Grinders are insane! There's so much little detail it's insane man! My question is why make them in China? Isn't that just like destroying our economy more? I love wild grinders though, I have Emo Crys, Jay Jay, and Jackknife. All three are insane! I couldn't even get any of the other ones! They are sold out! I have a couple suggestions though. First, you should make Jay Jay and Jackknife's hats real, they would sell so fast! Also have you ever considered having Rodney Mullen on your show? My last one is kind of a challenge more than a suggestion. Do you think it's possible to christ air invert? That would mean a lot to me, being a kid to broke too buy a new deck, to have a pro skater do a move that I have been thinking about, wondering if it was possible for days. So, thanks for reading this, you know if you did, before throwing it away.
